Why dense, “untidy” forests grow fastest, why soil is the real engine, and how pocket forests rewild cities from the inside out — with Adrian Wong of SUGi.
A great read, Nadina! We planted a mini forest 10 yrs ago in our backyard of 1 acre and I did a similar method as I thought, a true forest doesn't plant perfectly for esthetics, it plants itself naturally and that means, things aren't perfectly symmetrical. We planted endangered species to our area as well. I did prune a path to walk through our forest floor.
Love this - “life has left so many places in cities and we can bring life back.”
